What is a Heart Rate Monitor?


A Heart Rate Monitor consists of a watch and a chest transmitter which picks up your heart rate and displays it on the watch. Your Heart Rate Monitor can tell you how hard you are working, for how long, how many calories you have burnt, how many times a week you should exercise to get to the maximum benefit and also provide you with accurate heart rate information to give you an idea of how your fitness is improving and changing.
